Get out that trusty paper and pencil.

Follow the directions

Go to interactives

Go to Renaissance

Read the introduuction

Go to "out of Middle Ages"

Go to "Exploration of Trade"

Read about the middle class, cities, etc

This will give you some background.

Go to Renaissance Connection

enter site

go to heavy lines by each date (ie 1400, 1600, 1700, etc)

select and area of interest (art, technology, etc)

THERE ARE 5 CATEGORIES/AREAS

Go to each year and see what invention lead to another

Write it down!

Do this for all 5 categories

You will use this information to make a timeline.

Print out a timeline

You might need maybe 20 pages. You can put more than one category/area on a timeline.

I would suggest that you complete one category before going to another
